Importantly, only by attending calls live on Zoom will you be able to ask questions of the candidates.
By registering for the Zoom call, you will get an email reminder the day before the call.
CAN and WILL the JUDICIARY SAVE US?

The role of the Judiciary is to uphold the Constitution and serve as a check on the other branches of government. But under Trump 2.0, the Supreme Court has been compromised, the Justice Department has been weaponized, and the Constitution has been undermined.
Join us and our expert panel for a discussion of the role of the Judiciary in stopping this administration's agenda and what we, as committed grassroots activists, can do to restore faith in the legal system.

Regional Town Hall

The Cape Ann Indivisible State–Federal Legislative Team invites residents of Massachusetts Congressional District 6 to this high-impact Regional Town Hall. While hosted in Gloucester, this is a truly regional forum. Invitations have been extended to State Senators and Representatives from contiguous districts across the broader Sixth Congressional District, creating a rare opportunity for constituents and lawmakers to engage face-to-face in one shared space.
At a moment of mounting budget pressure, proposals for additional tax cuts raise urgent questions about the Commonwealth’s ability to sustain essential public services. This evening is designed to surface those questions clearly and publicly—giving constituents the opportunity to be heard and legislators the opportunity to respond directly to the communities they serve.
Speakers include Jonathan Cohn, Policy Director, Progressive Massachusetts; and Crisayda Belen, Campaigns Director for Field First, and who also serves as Project Manager for Raise Up Massachusetts. They will address (1) the scope and urgency of the fiscal challenges and (2) the policy initiatives now under consideration, providing context for personal stories from district residents. Following these testimonials, speakers will pose questions to attending legislators, with time reserved for audience questions.
Key Revenue Initiatives Under Discussion

Pramila Jayal: The Resistance Lab

Pramila knew we need a way to turn our anger, fear, and frustration into action and progress. That’s exactly why she launched The Resistance Lab, an in-depth organizing training to build our movement and give you the tools you need in this moment.
The Resistance Lab is a series of trainings that are developed specifically for this moment. We look at how non-violent movements around the world have responded to leaders who seize power in authoritarian ways and the most effective tools and tactics to utilize in these moments. We offer frameworks to understand this moment at home and incorporate interactive conversation with others to help create community and build our resistance movement.
Resistance Readers

This group’s purpose is to discuss literature and other media (artwork , movies, and music) relating to nonviolent civil resistance, organizing, and campaigning.
Newcomers most welcome…
TAKE ACTION ANYTIME
The Resolution Project Comes to the North Shore

In colonial times, our New England towns and counties adopted various “resolves” to protest the abuses and usurpations by King George III and the British Parliament. These actions brought attention to and local ownership of the issues, resulting in support for independence and leading to the American Revolution.
In our times, Simon Rosenberg, a highly respected political strategist and publisher of Hopium Chronicles on Substack, has initiated the Resolution Project. Modeled on the resolves of colonial times, it calls for our cities and towns to pass “resolutions of condemnation,” thereby going on the record and officially voicing our complaints with Trump and the Trump Administration, and affirming our support for democracy. About a hundred towns and cities (including Boston) across 23 states have passed resolutions in condemnation of Trump and in support of democracy. We are looking to increase this number manyfold in celebration of our 250th birthday.
Representing multiple towns—including Salem, Marblehead, Ipswich, Manchester-by-the-Sea, and Lynn—we have formed a steering committee to help leaders from these and other North Shore communities draft resolutions and present them to their Town Meetings, Select Boards, and City Councils. To learn more and join our effort, visit the Swing Left NS/CA Web site and email us with RESOLUTION PROJECT as the subject.

Don’t Mourn, Organize

We are a group of Boston area activists who are focused on fighting the Trump agenda and helping activists identify effective political actions.
We have been involved in movements related to racial equality, the VietNam war, nuclear power, nuclear weapons, intervention in Central America, South African apartheid, affordable housing, labor organizing, reproductive rights, pay equity, economic inequality, women' s rights, LGBTQ rights, immigration, low-income youth, mass incarceration, climate change, voting rights, many electoral campaigns, women’s liberation, and more. We believe in following the lead of those most impacted.
Take Action: Stop Trump’s War in Venezuela
Every Member of Congress must do everything in their power to stand up to Trump and prevent war with Venezuela. Email your member of Congress.
Indivisible has composed a letter and you can enable them to send it to your members of Congress, or yoou can compose your own letter.
Condemn the Illegal Occupation of Venezuela
Trump attacked Venezuela, kidnapped the sitting President and First Lady, and is now claiming that the United States will occupy that country to help the oil industry "make a lot of money."
Trump is beholden to big oil corporations like Chevron and billionaire oil tycoons like Tim Dunn.
We will not stand by while Trump attacks other countries in violation of our constitution. We will not stand by while he starts wars for the billionaire class.
Join us in sending a letter to your elected officials and spread the word. We will be taking to the streets, we will be making our voices heard. Stay tuned for more to come.

Support Articles of Impeachment Against Robert F. Kennedy, Jr.

On December 10, 2025, Stand Up for Science supported the introduction of articles of impeachment against Health and Human Services Secretary RFK Jr.
RFK Jr is a menace to public health. He is destroying our public health institutions, dismantling our biomedical research, eroding public trust, and endangering the lives and wellbeing of Americans.
Our next move: demand Congress vote on the articles of impeachment on the House floor.

May Day 2026 Kick Off: Workers Over Billionaires Nationwide

Tell Congress: Stop President Trump’s Illegal Boat Strikes

The Trump administration is murdering civilians in international waters. We need answers so we can stop the killing.
Since September, the Trump administration has ordered over 20 lethal strikes on civilian boats near Venezuela, killing nearly 90 people in clear violation of domestic and international law.
We'll be clear: This is an egregious abuse of power with life-or-death consequences. It is also criminal. Congress must stop the president's illegal and immoral strikes, and officials who have carried them out must be held accountable. Take action now.
U.S. airstrikes in Latin America and the Caribbean are murder. Congress must stop them now
“In the last two months, the U.S. military’s Southern Command has gone on a murder spree by following the Trump administration’s illegal orders,” said Daphne Eviatar, Amnesty International USA’s Director for Human Rights and Security. “The administration has not even named its victims, nor provided evidence of their alleged crimes. But even if they did, intentionally killing people accused of committing crimes who pose no imminent threat to life is murder, full stop.
“It is well past time for Congress to exercise its oversight role over the administration’s unlawful behavior, put an end to these illegal air strikes, and hold those responsible for these murders accountable.”

How to Stop the Descent into Madness

To the degree you're just a spectator to this crisis, you're a contributor to it.
We have entered a new phase of national crisis. Confronted with accelerating madness, lawlessness, corruption, cruelty and destruction, we cannot, must not, continue as we have been. We must respond to the worsening situation with greater urgency, greater numbers, bolder actions…and we must candidly assess what has and has not worked in the past and try new things where required.
What follows are some thoughts about that response, some guidelines, some specific actions to take, some ways we must reset our outlook. These are fragments, in no particular order. Choose among them. Embrace what you can and what you believe in.

Tell Congress: Rein in the Insurrection Act and End Trump’s War on Cities
The Insurrection Act is a 200-year-old law that gives presidents sweeping power to deploy troops on U.S. soil. Trump’s attempt to twist it into a weapon against protesters and political opponents is a direct threat to democracy. Unless Congress steps in, Trump — and future presidents — could use the same power to silence dissent anywhere, anytime.
Robert Reich has posted a video on Substack outlining Trump’s plan:
Trump’s Plan to invoke the Insurrection Act
Congress must act immediately to reform the Insurrection Act. These commonsense reforms are essential to safeguard democracy and prevent abuse. It’s up to us to show Congress that we won’t let Trump turn the military against our own people.
Use this form to ask Congress to reform the Insurrection Act. It will take less than 5 minutes to complete the form that will send a letter to your U.S. Senators and to your U.S. Representative.

Harnessing Our Political Power to End Political Violence (Hope) Training

If your goal is to reduce the power of those who cheer political violence, how do you strategically respond to acts of political violence? This is unfortunately a real-life strategic question we’ve been wrestling with all year. So, I have some thoughts, and Indivisible has some actions.
Political violence hurts democracy. Period.
So, at Indivisible we’re very clear: political violence is a cancer on democracy. It doesn’t matter if you disagree politically — and we strongly disagreed with Charlie Kirk on basically everything. But we’re clear that political violence in any form is an attack on the basic conditions that allow everyone to organize and voice their views.
So, what do we do about it? Shrugging at political violence is dangerous for democracy, but issuing statements and moving on is insufficient. In the face of this violence — and the right-wing escalation — we need to be intentional, principled, and courageous. We also need to understand the strategies for how large-scale, broad-based, peaceful, people-powered organizing best operates in this environment.
Indivisible is proud to partner with the folks from endpoliticalviolence.org to learn how to Harness Our Political Power to end Political Violence (HOPE).

Unite Against Hate
Not In Our Town is a movement to stop hate, racism and bullying, and build safe, inclusive communities for all.
Started by Not in Our Town activists, it is an excellent opportunity for local groups to show support for their vulnerable neighbors and to stand against discrimination and the bullying tactics of ICE and the current presidency.
Rural Ground Game
Every community deserves the dignity of inclusion, regardless of zip code.
In 2025, all eyes will be on Virginia. We are currently working to build new resources and opportunities for both local Democratic committees and 2025 campaigns. Our goal is to bolster the credibility and presence of Democrats through direct voter contact, strengthened by locally-developed paid media.
Holding progressive values can feel isolating in rural communities. At Rural Ground Game, we work with local partners to build community and strengthen morale by offering events, training, resources, and opportunities for coordination with others.
At kitchen tables in the cities, suburbs, and countryside, most people want to know that they can secure housing, food, healthcare, education, and a quality of life that offers dignity.
Putting people first in our approach to removing barriers to a life of security, health, and hope for the future requires us to seek solutions from every community, not only the ones in close proximity to the halls of power.
We take action by texting, having authentic conversations, and hosting events.

Tesla Takedown

Elon Musk is destroying democracy around the world, and he's using the fortune he built at Tesla to do it. We are taking action at Tesla to stop Musk's illegal coup.

Tesla Takedown is a peaceful protest movement. We oppose violence, vandalism and destruction of property. This protest is a lawful exercise of our First Amendment right to peaceful assembly.

PROTECTING IMMIGRANTS,
Neighbors, Our Families, & Ourselves

Massachusetts Immigrant & Refugee Advocacy Coalition (MIRA)

One in six Massachusetts residents, and one in five workers, is foreign-born. Immigrants and refugees come to this country with a wide range of skills and ambitions, and as they make America their home, they enrich our social fabric and strengthen our democracy.
MIRA is the largest coalition in New England promoting the rights and integration of immigrants and refugees. With offices in Massachusetts and New Hampshire, we advance this mission through education and training, leadership development, institutional organizing, strategic communications, policy analysis and advocacy.
Now, at this critical time in our country, we want to make Massachusetts a model for how to welcome and integrate people from all around the world. Let’s stand up together for a better, more inclusive America!
Massachusetts Access to Counsel Initiative (MACI)

The Massachusetts Access to Counsel Initiative is a joint effort between MIRA Coalition, CPCS, and a statewide network of legal organizations. Together, we’re building a centralized intake and referral system for individuals in Massachusetts facing Immigration Court proceedings. Through a single intake line, detained and non-detained individuals from Massachusetts will be able to request help and be connected with an available legal service provider for potential representation.

Support the Safe Communities Act
The federal administation will use every tool available to deport members of our immigrant communities, including our police and courts. This misuse of public safety resources drives a wedge between immigrant communities and the public institions that protect and serve them. Bearing Witness at the ICE Field Office in Burlington
On a quiet side street right behind the Burlington Mall, immigrants are placed together in cells inside a featureless office building with no sign out front. People are detained here, sometimes for days, and sleep on a cold floor under Mylar blankets. There is one toilet per cell, under the watchful eye of a camera. There are no showers, no handwashing sinks in the cells, no windows, no soap, no food service facility, no menstrual products for women, no outdoor time, and no visitors.
Community activists are standing up to say this injustice is wrong.

FOOD PANTRIES
Donate to Food Pantries
The Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) is a federal program that was set up to to help low-income households buy food. Its continuation has been threatened, courtesy of a deranged President, a sycophant Speaker of the House, and their enablers. A resolution now appears to be forthcoming, but details and questions remain.
Please consider donating to our local food pantries. In these uncertain times, our neighbors need all the help we can provide.

Resist And Unsubscribe—Economic Strike

We must recognize that the president is unfazed by citizen outrage, the courts, or the media. He responds to one thing: the market. The most potent weapon to resist the administration is a targeted, month-long national economic strike — a coordinated campaign that attacks tech companies and firms enabling ICE — to inflict maximum damage with minimal impact on consumers. In sum, the shortest path to change without hurting consumers is an economic strike targeted at the companies driving the markets and enabling our president.

“If there’s a company most caught up in the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown, it’s Home Depot.” Yet the company has remained silent while raids continue to unfold on its lots.
That silence speaks volumes.
Home Depot cannot claim to serve our communities while allowing federal agents to terrorize people on their property. It’s ALL OF US or NONE OF US!
We are calling on Home Depot to take a stand:
- Denounce ICE raids on their properties.
- Declare their stores safe spaces.
- Protect the people who make and shop in their stores everyday.
"Home Depot keeps quiet on immigration raids outside its doors," "

Spotify Is Actively Enabling Trump’s Secret Police

In early October, Spotify began running recruitment ads from the Department of Homeland Security to fulfill SHS’s goal of hiring 10,000 more deportation officers by the end of the year. Spotify claims the ads comply with its policy, but streaming hate is not neutral. It’s a choice.
Spotify is a multibillion-dollar company that relies on subscriptions. Lessons from the Jimmy Kimmel campaign demonstrate that when customers rebel by canceling subscriptions, capitulation can be reversed. What can you do? Cancel your subscription. Use this social media toolkit to post online. Indivisible's toolkit includes more steps you can take and a list of alternative music streaming services. #DontStreamFascism
